Cartier nailed it!
(pardon the pun, it was just too easy!)
As you all may know, I love my hardware. I found the quintessential Item of Desire, the “Just a Nail” ring from the rebellious natured Juste UN Clou Collection. As a designer, I was immediately fascinated by Cartier’s genius recreation of a simple tool box nail! My absolute favorite version is the white gold with diamonds. The bent hardware ranges from $2,200-$36,000 and is definitely a must-have on my list.

Naté Bova is a stylist at Warren-Tricomi, the go-to hair salon for New York City’s elite located in the iconic Plaza Hotel. In her three years as a stylist at the salon, she has worked on numerous weddings, fashion shows and photo shoots for print. Naté has done bridal hairstyles for women from New York and across the globe, and has been featured on the Tyra Banks show.
While preparing for their wedding day, a Bride is always looking for the latest and easiest hair styles to make them look their best. Naté has provided some fun and easy tips to make your hair appointment quick and precise.
First, start off with a practice run. There, you will be able to play with different styles and colors and if you’re not totally happy you can always have another one. If you do decide you will be using a color, plan to get it about two weeks before the wedding.
For an idea of a style, go classic with a twist like a funky chignon that is clean in the front and fun in the back. You can also play with cool hair accessories such as feather and crystal headbands which are becoming popular right now.
Also, to help your stylist get a hint of the look you may be going for, bring pictures of your dress. They may be able to use it for inspiration as to what hair styles will look best on you.
We wanted to share some amazing images from our photo shoot at the Plaza Hotel. Below is the Chrysler Building shot in the foyer outside the Warren-Tricomi salon and the Plaza is below that.

We are so pleased to have our gowns at Stanley Korshak! Today was the first day of the trunk show, and the gowns look gorgeous in the window. The wonderful team at Stanley Korshak was kind enough to send over some photos…
Designer Anne Bowen creates spirited, sexy and modern collections. As a luxury brand, her designs reflect on the inner confidence and individuality of women everywhere. Anne Bowen began designing at a very young age. Inspired by her mother's taste for menswear, she experimented with rich colors, textures and draping. Her designs possess simplicity in silhouette with an exquisite structure and are often adorned with semi-precious and precious stones.
Anne Bowen premiered her bridal collection during New York’s illustrious Bridal Fashion Week at The Plaza Hotel. Known for her stylized evening wear, Anne introduced her distinguished, red carpet design philosophy to the bridal market. Architectural fused with simplicity, fresh and non-traditional, the gowns stay true to the Anne Bowen aesthetic. The collection offers a no-frills drama, atypical of bridal designs to-date.
